Kansas City Festival Recap
DeBartolo Sports University hosted our Inaugural Kansas City DeBartolo Football Festival this past weekend (June 20th – 22nd) at William Jewel College in Liberty, MO. Out in the blazing heat, our first stop in the heartland turned out to be a wonderful trip surrounded by an A+ class of coaches, families, and athletes. This marked the 15th festival in 2009 and with success comes time to show pride and great appreciation for those who made commitment and availability to engage in our training programs this past weekend.

The Kansas City Football Festival is being headed up by a tremendous quarterback staff including former KC Chiefs QB Coach Terry Shea, Green Bay Packer QB Great Lynn Dickey, and DSU QB Expert Joe Dickinson.

Rutgers Showcase and Skills Challenge Recap
On Friday night inside the Bubble, athletes from across the Northeast gathered to showcase their skills and compete in the skills challenge events. DeBartolo Sports University’s Friday Night is all about competition, we salute all of the athletes for coming out and competing.

Northern Florida Football Festival Kicks off June 12
Joe Dickinson, Randy Cross, and a star cast of coaches are set to lead the weekend acitivities. The event is nearly sold out and the top athletes from the southeast are finishing their preparations. Without question, this DeBartolo Sports University Football Festival will be one of the finest to date.

Ohio Festival Recap
Athletes gathered inside Youngstown State University’s football stadium where they were put through two days of intense NFL/Collegiate level training. The DeBartolo Sports University athletes received recruiting education, skill development, core and agility training, film study sessions, and all athletes were filmed during their drills and had the opportunity to review their film and be coached up in the classroom. Once again the Cardinal Mooney team had a show of power as they turned out in force. The Mooney athletes impressed the entire DeBartolo coaching staff from the young freshmen through the rising seniors. DeBartolo Sports University salutes the athletes from Cardinal Mooney for their dedication and commitment to their training and development.

Ohio Showcase & Skills Challenge Results
On Friday, May 29th at the first class facilities of Youngstown State University in Youngstown, OH athletes from Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia and New York converged inside the YSU Stadium to compete and showcase their skills. The Youngstown Friday Night Lights Showcase and Skills Challenge featured some of the best wide receivers, running backs and linebackers DeBartolo Sports U has scouted to date. According to the DeBartolo Sports University scouts and coaches, there were more than 50 legitimate division 1a prospects in attendance. Members from ScoutingOhio.com and Rivals.com were also in attendance covering the top prospects.

Rutgers Festival Details
Weather Alert: In the event of Rain for tonight's showcase at Rutgers we will hold the program in the bubble (Rutgers Football Indoor Facility). Please still plan to meet on the 3rd floor of the Hale Center (attached to the stadium) for Check In.



The NJ vs. Northeast HS All-Star Game and DeBartolo Sports University are teaming up to create the biggest weekend of high school football in the Northeast. Athletes from across the Northeast are traveling to Rutgers University for our Friday Night Lights Showcase inside RU's stadium, our series of Football Academies and of course the NJ vs. Northeast Game.
