The second day of the DeBartolo Sports University Oklahoma City Elite Quarterback and Wide Receiver Academy has completed and all the players in attendance have shown tremendous improvement. They took the instruction of the coaches from day one and put it on display in day two. |

Oklahoma City Elite QB/WR Academy Day One
The first day of the DeBartolo Sports University Oklahoma City Elite Quarterback and Wide Receiver Academy has come and gone with tons of instruction, teaching, learning, sunshine, and heat. With temperatures over 100 degrees, the nearly 30 quarterbacks and 30 wide receivers were out at Shawnee High School refining their skills under the direction of coaches Joe Dickinson, Joe McCulley and Norm Andersen. |

But imagine if you not only are the child of a famous parent, but want to follow in their career footsteps as well. The pressure to live up to those expectations can ruin some children.
But for Michael Villapiano, that is not the case.

DeBiase family, Dickinson have special relationship
A year and a half ago, Mark DeBiase and his son Augie were watching television when news broke that 13-year old quarterback phenom David Sills verbally committed to the University of Southern California. Stunned that such a young kid would be offered and subsequently accept a scholarship, Mark looked at Augie and said, “that kid is no better than you. You can do that.”
So the DeBiase duo went over to a near computer, looked at Sills’ YouTube highlights, and they each had the same reaction.
“This is ridiculous. Let’s do this.”

Quarterbacks rave about Elite Academy at Saddlebrook Resort
Not often do you hear teenage boys talk highly of getting up early in the summer, working outside in mid-90s temperatures for 4-5 hours a day, having limited free time, all with a severe lack of interaction with members from the opposite sex.
But every 12-18 year old quarterback who attended last week’s DeBartolo Sports University Elite QB Academy worked under those conditions – and came out of it with nothing but positive feedback. |

Elite QB Academy at Saddlebrook - Day Four
Another hot day at the DSU Elite QB Academy has concluded and you can really tell the end of the week is getting closer. Based on the hard work and the heat, the players were a little tired today, but to their credit, they battled and performed very well. |
