The half-day clinic will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2010, and is part of the Outback Bowl’s week-long schedule of events leading up to the Bowl game played on New Year’s Day at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla.
The Outback Bowl Youth Football Clinic, hosted at the University of South Florida, will be an interactive, experienced based program providing kids between the ages of 7 and 14 the opportunity to learn football fundamentals and sportsmanship from current and former NFL stars supported by expert trainers. The activities are designed so that each student can participate regardless of current skill sets, position or playing experience.
“The Outback Bowl is proud to expand its relationship with DeBartolo to include not only our Team Luncheon, but also a new Bowl Week event – the Outback Bowl Youth Football Clinic,” noted Bowl President/CEO Jim McVay. “This clinic will be a great opportunity for young athletes to experience top-notch instruction. And the Outback Bowl appreciates the wonderful work of the DeBartolo Family Foundation.”
This event is made possible through corporate sponsorship and all proceeds will benefit the DeBartolo Family Foundation.
