Q&A with Hassan Bailey:
DSU: What do you think distinguishes you from every other player in the nation?
HB: I'm physical, aggressive, can bump n run, I’m quick, have good footwork, also I’m one of a kind.
DSU: What do you hope to gain out of your participation in the Freddie Solomon Football Showcase?
HB: I hope to increase my football IQ.
DSU: What are your strengths? What do you need to improve on?
HB: My  strengths are that I"m powerful and have a hard work ethic.
I need to improve on my footwork.
DSU: What are your hobbies outside of football?
HB: My hobby is that I love to be in the weight room. They say what’s done in the dark come out in the light.
DSU: Do you have a favorite player or someone you model your game after? How do you model yourself after him?
HB: My favorite players are Champ Bailey and Deion Sanders. I model myself after them by their physical and mental toughness.
DSU: How have you evolved over the years as a player?
HB: I have evolved by becoming a leader in and out the classroom.
DSU: What is your proudest moment in football?
HB: My proudest moment in football is knowing all of my teammates.
DSU: What TV-show marathon will keep you on the couch all day?
HB: Martin Lawrence
DSU: Who/What has been your biggest influence on football? How so?
HB: The biggest influence on me is my big brother because I always played catch with him and went to his games in high school.

HB: Honor Roll, Principal Honor Roll

HB: Columbian

About the Freddie Solomon Football Showcase:
Each year the Freddie Solomon Football Showcase features the top up-and-coming football talent from the Tampa Bay area and across the southeast region of the United States. This exclusive event for high school football players is modeled after the NFL combine and gives athletes the opportunity to demonstrate their physical skills and football skills in front of an audience of football scouts, members of the media and college coaches. Unique to the Freddie Solomon Football Showcase, Combine Performance Specialists first teach and coach all of the athletes on the standardized combine drills and the techniques to successfully complete each test. Athletes leave the Showcase more confident and better prepared to attend and compete at similar events.
In its previous years the showcase was called the Tampa Bay High School Football Combine, however the name was changed to honor the late Freddie Solomon for all that he did for youth athletes in Tampa Bay.
